John was a woodworking artisan.
John designed, built and sold custom southwest furniture that he produced in his private workshop.
John was a US Air Force Veteran.
John served his Country in the early 1950s at an airbase in Arizona.
John was a self-taught draftsman and engineer, working in aerospace for decades.
John was a health fanatic dating back to the 1960s when it was not in-fashion and when there were only a few health food stores around.
John was a pioneer and role-model in California's health food movement.
